Advocacy Toolkit for VT Afterschool
The Vermont Center for Afterschool Excellence has developed an Afterschool Advocacy Toolkit to help afterschool leaders across the state connect with legislators and other policy makers. This toolkit expands upon the notion that in order to effect change, we must speak with one voice.
The toolkit includes the Vermont Afterschool Talking Points and suggestions for how to effectively combine a broad message with details about the important work happening within your program. The toolkit also includes a template for designing a one-page program overview and examples are provided. Additional examples of program overviews can also be downloaded below.
